presentation

A rich cast of actors, singers, dancers and musicians for the musical produced by the Trianon Viviani, which will be the main repertory title of the Neapolitan Song Theatre. Adagio Napoletano is a journey through the Neapolitan melodies of the 20th century, a succession of single and independent scenes between various seasons and emotions in a scenario that is highly evocative of the atmospheres, places and images that make up the aesthetic component of the City.
“In this show – the author and director Bruno Garofalo said – there is no common thread or temporal sequences: the performers and the characters in twentieth-century costumes evoke some canonical references of our infinite; collections; of melodies. Some immortalized in the 20th century, others recovered and unpublished in this context, but always representing a substantial importance for our discourse that ranges from philological restoration to pure spectacle”.
